In a new perspective paper, @peternewell.bsky.social, Oliver Bugge Hunt and I argue that we should not understand change as the opposite of stability. Rather, we can think of change and stability as co-constitutive of one another.

Very good article this. Need to reflect on it more but there are def some interesting parallels to the Reform strategy of using anti-solar panel sentiment as a wedge issue amongst farmers to push back on renewables. (as @tom-cb.bsky.social and I have just pitched as an article to The Conversation!)

Thanks Alex! Your work sounds interesting too. I am currently looking a bit at Reform as well, both in terms of renewables projects and local jobs, as well as flood risk and obstructing flood adaptation. Would be good to chat more some time, or read your piece when it's finished.
