honestly the album bops but like. the mess of it all irritates me to no end

also sorry i just don't buy yx being completely clueless and unknowingly being used as fan bait, nor do i think anything was done maliciously. i think they wanted to have a comeback and maybe were unsure about the rest of it, but pushed for it regardless

and tbh i don't buy that yx doesn't know about any of the legal mess and is unknowingly being used as fan bait. i can buy that the exos were just itching to have a comeback as a group regardless of the circumstances. i'll even buy the idea that maybe they were holding out for maybe cbx joining-

granted i always knew there was like a 50/50 (honestly 30/70) chance they'd be included, but still. sometimes transparency is a good thing. keeping everyone guessing will they/won't they creates opportunities like this

and there's no telling how much (if any) communication is going on between cbx and the sm members and ksoo and yx. obviously the cbx and sm battle is out of the hands of the other members but like. idk man this could've been handled so much better than is has been

literally all this frustration and confusion could've been avoided by just. trusting the fans enough to be more transparent about things. i can buy not making any statements until maybe an agreement could be made but like. at some point there should've been SOMETHING said
