IFs don't age, Bloo was created the "age" he is, he's never been different or "younger." Mac created him when he was a toddler so Bloo was imagined to entertain and be a playmate to a 3 year old which is why he's very childlike and immature.

1. The answer is boring. We intended D.I. to be the finale because we were planning on using our last 3 half hours to tell the story. Making it a THREE parter. But CN told us they wanted D.I. to be a TWO parter, which meant we had 1 half hour left which became G.T.B.
