The refs don’t have a handle on international grounding these days. There’s no consistency, or common sense on those calls.

6. Mason Rudolph did okay, but I thought the #Steelers really missed Aaron Rodgers late in the 4th quarter. To take possession down 3 from their own 20 with 1:29 to go, and not even cross midfield against that #Bears defense, was not exactly high level execution.

5. This isn't a knock on Daniel Jones, but you could see the difference in the 4th quarter and OT between Jones and Patrick Mahomes from a comfort level. I thought Jones looked a little frantic. Mahomes has been in those spots a million times, and was unfazed. #Colts / #Chiefs

4. Unless #Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell thinks J.J. McCarthy needs a mental break, he needs to continue to play. McCarthy has been awful, but he missed his entire rookie season, so Minnesota is going to have to live with the growing pains as he learns on the job.

3. As I joked on Sunday, I'm sure they're all rational opinions when it comes to Shedeur Sanders. His #Browns starting debut at QB was fine. Some good...some not so good. He showed you flashes that make you want to see more. We can leave it at that for now.

2. I heavily criticized #Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer on the Sunday Drive, and haven't changed my thinking today. The failure to take the points at 21-all late in the 4th quarter, or run it more than once in goal to go after a 6-yard run on 1st down, was inexcusable.

I'll give you a quick #NFL stream of consciousness this morning as we head into Thanksgiving week:
1. Nobody should need a power ranking to tell them the #Rams are the best team in the #NFL right now. That's not debatable at this point.

I have an unhappy wife and daughter in regards to the Nimmo trade, but you have to take the emotion out of it. Tough to see him go. However, the move opens up all sorts of interesting possibilities in LF, and if the idea is to improve the defense, this is a step forward. #Mets

I only saw about 5-minutes of the #Knicks game, and I’m glad. They’ve got injuries, but so do other teams. I’m not impressed.
