Do you sync the server results to the client and make it jank occasionally or be more lax and sync only in rare circumstances? Maybe use a less powerful and more deterministic physics system?

when creating a multiplayer physics based game its a challenge to have client prediction with an authoritarive server that might calculate the physics differently
