Do you set a reading goal for the year, like a certain number of books or trying different genres? Do you think you’ll make it by the end of the year?
My goal is to read more books than last year (46). I’m at 42 rn (crushed it over the summer then got sick 😅). But I think I can do it!

Big casts are fun but there's power in a tight cast too.
Recently, I realized I could replace a walk-on, nameless character who never appears again, with an existing one — which sets up some pretty cool foreshadowing that will pay off in book 2. Double duty!
