No cover for the mosh and social upstairs! The bar varies, but is usually between $5-15 cash cover on a Friday evening.

This event is not vetted as it is strictly social and mosh-focused! It is open to all (over 18+), we hope to see you there!

What does the space look like? Anything else to note? Our space is made up of two separate rooms. The primary room of the space is occupied by our main mosh area, general social area, and raffle/promotional items for our group. This room can get loud and rambunctious as everyone has fun and there is medium loud music playing. Our secondary space down the hall is reserved as a quiet room, with a gentler mosh space and quiet conversations. There is no music in this room generally. Both rooms are accompanied by trained Mosh guards/staff. Absolutely no private play or sexual activity is allowed in these spaces.

Is there a place to keep clothes/my items? Yes! We have lockers available on a first come first serve basis. You are welcome to bring a lock for these as well (they are traditional school style lockers). We assume no responsibility for any lost or damaged items left in these lockers or in the general space, but are happy to report items as lost to Eagle staff in case they find them at a later time.

What can I wear? We allow most outfits into our space, with a few rules that have to be followed: -Butts and Genitals MUST be covered -No hate speech or symbols allowed -Chests and nipples of all types are allowed to be uncovered, however please cover up appropriately when outside per providence laws -We do not allow any gear that could be interpreted as police, heavy military, or emergency response personnel -Anything loose, sharp, or otherwise deemed unsafe not allowed on the mosh mats

Is the area accessible? Unfortunately, The third floor of the Eagle’s Nest does not have elevator access. We are working hard to address accessibility needs regarding this, but currently the space is up two flights of stairs with limited lighting plus a few steps from street level. The Eagle bar is wheelchair accessible, but has limited space and lighting to be aware of. If you have concerns regarding these details, please let us know and we will try to help!

Where is the event? I see two addresses listed! We have two locations with different things happening! Our primary location is at 257 Weybosset st in a private 3rd floor of the eagle’s nest (Providence health club), where the mosh and main social is happening; you will see signs with directions upon entering the door (starred)! Our second locations is at 124 Snow St (the main Eagle bar), where we encourage folks to socialize during or after the event. Please note that during this base camp, the bar space is unmonitored by Scoutmasters and you do have to walk outside between the two spaces!

Join RI Pup and Pet Scouts for our return to our mosh season with our September Base Camp: Northeast Summit! We will be joined by four groups from across the northeast and their members to bring you an event full of nonstop moshing, socializing, and plenty of tail-wagging fun!

There is generally no cost for the gear at the event, and for our swap it is set up as a room seperate from the movie where you can browse the gear at your leisure. Please refrain from bringing any snacks that are corn-centric (popcorn, tortilla chips, doritos/cheetos, etc.) or have kiwi as we have members with severe airborne allergies. We also will not allow alcoholic beverages to be brought to the event. This is non-negotiable and if you violate this rule, you will be asked to discard/put the snack somewhere outside the building and/or asked to leave if you will not abide. We will have snacks that are both salty and savory available to munch on and water available! Please stay tuned for a post about guidelines for what gear is acceptable to swap, what that process will look like, and more! If you have any questions prior, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we will answer to the best of our ability.

Join RI Pup and Pet Scouts for a hybrid movie night and gear swap! Bring your favorite movie snack(s), your retired gear, and your social self to hang out amongst other pets, handlers, and friends while watching Underdog! We are asking for a suggested donation of $10 that will directly support The Space, but there will be no one turned away for lack of funds. The Space is located next door to Alchemy and is on the second floor up one flight of stairs. There is unfortunately no elevator, but the stairs do have a sturdy railing and small steps up. There is a small parking lot behind the building, street parking, and a paid lot right next to the building for those driving, and there is a bus stop a few minute’s walk from the venue. Please bring your own chairs/blankets/whatever you need to be comfortable for the movie, as we will only have our mosh mats available for seating! If you need assistance with accessibility needs, please reach out and we will help as best as we are able.

Join us in July for a special outdoor edition of Base Camp! Join us at a private location in Rhode Island (available through DM and in our Discord) to play outside, socialize, and to learn from this month’s educator! Unlike our normal events, it occurs from 4-8pm on a Saturday (July 12th).

Due to some Covid results within our organization after RI Pride, we will NOT be holding our Freeplay Meetup tonight. See you all in July!

We will meet between Washington and Greene St at 7pm, with the exact location being shared in the linked discord closer to the time of the event when we receive it from RI Pride!

Join RI Pup and Pet Scouts for our second time walking in RI Pride’s Illuminated Night Parade on June 21st! The route is paved, approximately one mile, is at night but well illuminated, and makes frequent stops.

The pathway is paved and suitable for wheelchairs and other mobility aids, as well as accessible via car (parking available locally) and transit-friendly. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns, and we hope to see you there!

This hike will take place on the East Bay Bike Path on June 7th (Rain Date June 8th), with the group meeting behind Borealis Coffee (Riverside location) at 12:30 pm and starting the walk at 1:00 pm!

Join RI Pup and Pet Scouts for a kickoff to Pride with a gentle and accessible hike! Light/street-appropriate gear, comfortable shoes and clothing, and water are encouraged.

Our next Base Camp is on May 16th, with the topic of Bootblacking 101 taught by a familiar snoot- Crackerjack!
