My association with #Forgotten80s is definitely finished after I think around 9/10 years, can't be exact. Being more appraised of the situation I feel sick not only for those affected, but for not knowing sooner than today.

Just speed-listened to that new Mitski album. Some of it's OK but most of it's monotonously miserable middleground press-the-surround-sound-button-on-your-stereo production fodder for music critics who get paid to be miserable. Might grow on me though so 6/10.

We disembarked from the #f*rg*tt*n80s ship some time back and take no pride in seeing that we were right to do so. No excuse for that behaviour and I presume Absolute Radio/Bauer Media will act appropriately.

I just saw that. In the early Melody Maker nineties I was never quite sure why Courtney Love and Everett True were so down on BC, but now it makes sense. Waiting to see how many others of his ilk grudgingly or not so grudgingly agree with him.
