Will have a bit of a nerdy data point later today about the BLS annual work stoppage report documenting more workers on strike than the @laboraction.bsky.social in 2025, despite only looking at a fraction of total strikes.

Everyone(all 20 of us) is talking about the BLS member data today, but THIS is the union membership report *I* want to dig in.

ECHL, players reach tentative CBA deal, end strike The ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association have reached tentative approval on a new collective bargaining agreement to end a strike that lasted two days.

Professional hockey players went on strike against the ECHL this past weekend before reaching a tentative agreement. Players were protesting health and safety concerns, among other demands, and the strike forced the postponement of 28 games.
