The better question is what is the difference between a cis child of 6 getting puberty blockers and a trans child. If its dangerous for one its dangerous for the other. Or how about a 15yo cis girl can get HRT without parental consent and a trans 15yo girl who can't get it even with parental consent

Ah, but EA 2010 repealed those provisions in GRA2004 so clearly that was parliament deciding that they no longer wanted that /s it was in no way related to the fact that they referred to SDA 1975 and parliament made it clear GRC holders were women for EA2010!

Of course it did. But the principle of non regression meant that EA2010 could not reduce the rights contained in SDA 1975. The Solicitor General made that very clear on a number of occasions when MPs wanted to reduce rights in different areas.

He'd also have to argue that EA2010 deliberately overturned SDA1975 on that despite parliament expressly recognised that could not reduce rights due to non regression requirements.
