Today we honor the lives of those killed 24 years ago in the September 11 attacks, their loved ones, and the heroic first responders.

We will never forget.

In 1957, Congress passed the Civil Rights Act — a landmark step for voting rights.

Decades later, we must honor its legacy by ensuring every voice and every vote counts.

SB 42 the Fair Elections Act puts the power back where it belongs—with the people. It will remove California’s ban on public campaign financing and ensure our elections are about supporting the people, not big money.
