4 March 1902 | A German Jewish woman, Lotte Mamlok, was born in Wirsitz.

She was deported to #Auschwitz in 1943 with her husband Max and sons Robert & Peter. Husband and Peter were registered in the camp and perished later. Lotte and Robert were murdered in the gas chamber.

Teachers can inspire you or leave you hating a subject. I passed O Level Maths only because I got a new teacher in 4th Year. I would have failed otherwise
It’s unforgivable to have a job where you can create lasting impressions but you leave kids hating education but I’ve also had great teachers too

There’s a podcast called Coffee Break German which you might find useful.

I did Coffee Break Spanish which was great for early pronunciation and grammar so hopefully the German version is as good. It should be free to access.

I did German O-Level (yes I’m that old!) as well as French up to A-Level.

I could never get the flow of German sentences - second verb goes at the end as in “I am to the shop going” etc

Currently learning Spanish via Duo Lingo and Coffee Time Spanish.
