We attended a delightful candle making workshop at Wired Irish Crafts in Kilkenny earlier.
They are in the old stables at the back of Kilkenny Design, across from the castle.
It was a lovely afternoon and we learned lots and had fun.
Highly recommended!

Unfortunately there are some who willingly seek it out and put it on their front pages. A disgrace to the profession.

On this day in 1925, In their Lenten Pastoral, Catholic Bishops condemned late night dancing in towns and appealed to parents to help stop it. The Archbishop of Cashel gave out about the “abnormal craze for dancing”.
