Yes, thatβs part of the problem. Comparing the relative βbadnessβ of different kinds of bad actions in different situations and thinking about citizens/expats/tourists etc. roles in the systems where these things are happening. Not even getting onto moral Qs about workers/consumers and companies

Not trying to do a gotcha or be flippant, just when so many states (and institutions) cross lines that shouldnβt be crossed I find it hard to form a coherent moral outlook

Iβm inclined to agree with you, I always have trouble with this question though, given how many states have done/are doing terrible things, how ought one feel about people who emigrate to China - given Xinjiang, Tibet etc - or the USA, given all the wars/support for Israelβs war crimes etc.

I didnβt say Macron didnβt require support from the left, just that in certain βdeveloped democraciesβ the far right could be defeated by centrist led blocs, indicating that perhaps a centrist party with more competent/charismatic leadership and a slightly better economy could also do better in UK

Even less clear how this generalises across the rest of developed democracies, how many European countries are currently run by centrist parties or coalitions? Left-wing candidates like Hollande didnβt keep the far right Le Pen out of the presidency for the last ten years, centrist Macron did, no?

reform and greens combined currently polling under 45% nationally, of course FPTP can skew this, but 55+% of the electorate apparently doesnβt fall into the two teams the OP outlines, so whatβs going on there?

Yes, ultimately I think this is an officiating problem, but some clubs have profited from it than others, are Arsenal among the major beneficiaries of laxer enforcement of fouls on the opposition keeper?

Arsenal do seem to score an awful lot of goals from corners though, Iβd be interested to see if they have scored more than Brentford in that regard

Come on now, pushing and shoving from corners is clearly as old as football, but this particular tactic of pushing the keeper definitely seemed to originate with Arsenal cos the officiating changed, fair play youβre going within the law, but bit rich to pretend the tactics didnβt start in north ldn

Sun Xinmei (female, born in 1994) was identified, marched to the prison and executed.
Recently, the Changsha Intermediate
People's Court in Hunan Province issued a notice that the court executed
four criminals on September 22 in accordance with the law. Sun Xinmei, who had great social influence in Wangcheng and Ningxiang cities five years ago, was also identified and marched to a prison and executed on the same day.
The offender is Sun Xinmei, female, born on 18 August 1994, of Shunan Township, Zizhong County,
Sichuan province.
It is understood that in 2010, Sun Xinmei, then 16, met Yang, a Changsha man (who died aged 33), online. In 2014, Sun Xinmei had stayed at Yang's home during a trip from Sichuan to Changsha.
According to Sun Xinmei's confession/ after coming to the case, she was molested by Yang that night, and remained angry with Yang and attempted to kill Yang and obtain money.
Apparently you can also get executed for killing your abuser thoughβ¦

I can see at a few major potential drivers of this phenomenon:
1. Backlash to βhypeβ surrounding certain AI scenarios and abilities
2. AI becoming a corporate buzz word and being rushed into existing products regardless of whether consumers want it
3. Kind of depressing what AI can do already
