Agatha went to school today. She is a very happy gremlin.

This was our girl Crash. She loved sunbeams and smooshy blankets.

Sandra the yellow lab mix is looking at me with a gentle “please get your phone outta my face” look. She’s smushed up against the blue sofa back, laying on her red blanket, feet swept out to her side. Deep sigh for emphasis.

Omigosh! I just saw another dog! What an awesome day!

Agatha the brindle French bulldog is sleepily looking at me take a photo of her. Her ears are mostly up because she’s curious. She’s back lit by a sunbeam. She’s curled up on top of her grey heating pad, with her soft blankie with red and pink hearts on it smooshed up next to her.

Agatha the brindle French bulldog is sitting on some baby grass behind the house squinting in the sun and smiling with her little pink tongue poking out. Her ears are standing up and she’s so happy: it’s the first warm day for her to do this. She loves it.

Most of you wouldn’t think it was warm today (mid-40°F), but Agatha got to sit on baby grass behind the house in her warm spot and bake a little in the sun. ☀️🌱🔥😊

Agatha, the brindle French bulldog is smiling widely with her tongue poking out in the shape of a V. I used the shape of her tongue to be the V in the word “love” which you can see written on the armrest of the passenger seat of our car. Agatha was super excited to take a walk on a bike path in a different part of town. It was windy and she kept flapping her ears, but for the first time ever, she didn’t mind if I tucked her ears inside the hood of her sweater.

Agatha is exploring our backyard. It’s sunny today and a lot of the snow around he big rock has melted. You can see all of last year‘s dead grasses and a dormant wild rose. Brown sticks.

Agatha is outside right now inspecting mouse rock. If you look closely, you can see the two red berries on top that she’s been investigating since November. They’re still there.

Because everything feels out of control, I Marie Kondo-ed our tea towel drawer. First this drawer, then the pantry, house, state, and country. ✌🏻

I’m in frenchie jail. I got off the couch too many times, and now she has hooked her legs over my ankle to monitor me while she chews her bone.

The world is a flaming dumpster fire right now, but Agatha would also like you to know that it’s #sexylegday.

Anti-vaxxers have already decided. Studies show that show people who are resistant to science don’t change their stance. Like the measles outbreak in the immigrant community Wakefield visited. They started to vaccinate AFTER their children started to die. Direct experience is a tough way to go. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Agatha was trying to take over the grey fuzzy blanket while I went to make a coffee. She was also on my spot… so I gave her the blanket and moved her down. As a compromise, she also stole the heating pad.

Oh well. 🤷🏼‍♂️ It’s a tragedy, but there’s nothing we can do.
