Risks

I think all of my characters take a risk at some point, but the one most notorious for doing so (and getting himself in trouble) is Alex in The Caein Legacy. It's a good thing he has an older brother nearby to save him most of the time... 😅

Some believe in luck (notably Owen from Serpentus, and his running dialogue with the goddess of chance)

But I have a couple (unpublished) that believe in fate. Helene, from Oracle, and Zel from the Fontayne Co.

Lies or Rumors

In The Caein Legacy, Claire spreads some vicious rumors about Andrew after she leaves him. She's angry; she married him to become queen, but Andrew was never heir to the throne... When she finds out, her wrath is brutal. 😬

I'm glad everything arrived okay! (I'm not always sure I can trust the mail to deliver without damaging stuff)
