I’m gonna go through my art backlog slowly. It’s mostly AA up until more recently where there is Metaphor and Megaten stuff

Hikawa hates them all and leaves often but always comes back because he’s legit a terrible person and nobody else can stand dating him. He’s not hot enough for his looks to compensate for his personality.

Cooking up a modern/no conception AU where these 6 live together in the worst polycule ever while airing out every bit of their drama on social media

Also Shura and Hijiri stay demons because I want to make this even more chaotic

I love how even back in 2003 people were questioning why Shura lost his shirt privileges upon becoming a demon, the Nocturne manga are legitimately unhinged and a lot of the humor aged like ass but I laughed so much

Whenever he does have friends, he over-analyzes every interaction out of fear of losing them and struggles not to assume the worst. I think he sees solitude as the safest option. He doesn’t necessarily hate people, he just uses that as a mask for his fear of attachment and abandonment issues.

He rejects human connection being worthwhile because he’s terrified of losing those he cares about after getting attached and doesn’t want that feeling for others either. He doesn’t want to feel the pain that comes from caring about others because it hurts, even if deep down he wants community.

My Isamu headcanons are honestly 90% me projecting on him but idgaf

I ship the whole main Nocturne cast as one group because I know they’d be the worst polycule ever

For those not enlightened on nocturne, Hikawa is a middle aged man who was so crazy he got kicked out of a cult for it and Shura+Isamu are fuckass high schoolers

anyway, have my nocturne characters tier list

I love the crossover ships but I also want stuff of just the characters made specifically for Nocturne

Getting into Nocturne and shipping characters outside of the crossover stuff is not fun, like how tf does Hikawa/Shura and Hikawa/Isamu have NOTHING

I’ll have to feed myself because I love both of those and Isamu doesn’t have much in general.

Being a Demifiend/Shura/Naoki/whatevs enjoyer is fun because then you can openly show off a shirtless anime guy on stuff in public in a vaguely socially acceptable manner since he just looks like that

This ship is so good AND THEN they add a significant age gap that makes it even better, love it when the older guy is useless and leaves everything to his younger “apprentice”/bf
