The HEART Laboratory
CSUSM has a pretty great Kinesiology program, and The Heart lab (Deborah Feairheller) looks to be recruiting participants for a study on the topic.
Might be worth checking it out and seeing if it included a CPET.

It's not uncommon for athletes to red shirt for a year. If it's adding another year of competition against the 10 semesters of total eligibility, it kind of makes sense. Allowing for that to be built in, fitsπ€·ββοΈ.
Effects on team sizes and scholarships is a different problem.

We've talked about this one at our lab a bunch.
As a stethoscope, it's nice that it can be used with Bluetooth headphones, and useful for someone with hearing difficulties.
Alternatively, I like the eko core digital, because it still functions analogously, the electronic part is a bonus.

Have two for our 3 cats.
Robot's painless for general use and cleaning, aside from occasionally having to pull the globe out to hose off outside to get off any really stuck litter.
My cats seem to like it over their previous box since it stays significantly cleaner as well.

Many people are driving for their first time in winter weather as well.
I still feel that *most* people were more cautious while driving during winter while I was bike commuting in Boston.
But, that's really dependent on what areas you're riding through.

The one thing I wonder about studies like this (including my own master's thesis) is if the exercise bout isn't long enough to see any changes.
Graded tests until failure like critical power, but subbing in body position for power/time changes?

Regardless of the pressure about significant finding, I think that putting any and all findings out there is a good thing.
Even if it's an unexpected or non significant result it's still important to get it out into the world.
