With a roar of anger, pain, and frustration, Lucifer hurled the glass of wine at a wall. It splattered everywhere, glass shattering—the broken shards of it littering across the room like the many, many broken pieces of his life. It wasn't enough. That single broken glass smashed against the wall wasn't enough to quell his rage. - His wings snapped free of their dimensional prison and his horns pushed forth from his skull, a fire hot enough to melt metal burning in a bright ball of hatred between them. As she always did when he allowed this part of himself free, Eden manifested above his head, taking the place of the once holy and magnificent halo that had been ripped from him. He let out a guttural cry and felt a wave of corrupted Grace explode from him, shaking the palace at its foundations and knocking trinkets from his shelves and pictures from the walls. He grabbed the first thing he could reach—a large bin filled past overflowing with little yellow rubber ducks—and hucked it across the room, listening to the sad little squeaks they all made as they bounced every which way. Nothing in the room escaped his pain; nothing was safe from his rage. If he could get his hands on it, it was destroyed. Chairs were tossed across the room. Tables smashed by the fists of God's favorite son finally come undone. He tore the heads from countless rubber ducks, and glass jars of bright ink painted across the walls and shone in angry splotches of color. He pulled at bookshelves three times his size, knocking them over and scattering their contents across the floor. When he came to the little bed he'd set up for himself under the large window that looked out over Pentagram City, he dug his claws into it, ripping, tearing, and shredding every scrap of fabric he could find until he was left with nothing but a cloud of feathers that floated around him in stark contrast to the rest of the destruction in the room.
