In case there was any doubt, the use of the term "fascistic" to describe the current administration is completely appropriate. It has usurped and arrogated unto itself Article 1 powers as well as usurped and arrogated unto itself the ability to completely ignore Article 3 Court edicts.

I think more importantly this assumes that we have normalized that bluster is an okay way to communicate. It is not and never has been. We have allowed the bar to move too far.

A thought on how one could cut 10% of the federal workforce in a Constitutional way.

Legitimize the process by having Congress authorize a joint task force on reducing the size of government charged with making 10% reductions to the Federal workforce. It would be transparent and accountable.

A little more than two weeks in and we're already relying on the courts to hold the line. I fear the next step is that court orders will simply be ignored even if they come from the highest court in the land. Andrew Jackson is on the wall of the oval office for a reason.

It remains true, but now it's on steroids. When it comes to trump, cruelty is the point.
