Man sieht eine venezianische Festungsanlage beziehungsweise die Ruinen davon. Davor sieht man Felsen und einen steinernen Weg zur Anlage, an beiden Seiten von Wasser umgeben. Die Festungsanlage selbst ist auch von Wasser umgeben. Der Himmel ist sehr dunkel. Eine schwarze, bedrohliche, strudelförmige Wolke hängt über der Anlage. Dahinter verliert die Wolke Zeichnung, was auf Regen dahinter hindeutet.
