This is quite something.
Something special is happening here.

These fines are pointless. Deferred and passed to customers.
The only thing that hurts the water companies themselves is banning bonus and dividend. Isn't this obvious and why doesn't the government move on this?
#renationalise
Again, Farage, Badenoch and their fellow travellers on X are wildly out of touch with the public on Iran.
Even the majority of Reform supporters oppose their position.
More of these please.
Human politicians.

And Trump is no president. He is barely a human being.

Fantastic.
Go George!
We must bite the bullet and nationalise our water companies. Nothing else will save our water services.

Nick Robinson asked a guest if anti-war protests on Iran should be banned - could the BBC get any more obvious?
By @skwawkbox.org
Important to remember that the people most enthusiastic about bombing Iran are almost always the people most hateful towards refugees.

Labours attitudes towards water companies is one of the starkest examples of how they'll do anything to protect the status quo.
The case for water nationalisation is so bloody obvious to everyone - yet they'll do anything they can to keep the failed privatisation experiment.
I genuinely think somebody should check the water supply in Downing Street for toxins.
I'm spotting trend.
Remember this?
βIf you take out Saddam, I guarantee you it will have enormously positive impact in the region"
A million people died, an entire society was destroyed in a War based on a complete lie.
Fossil fuel stocks are exploding in response to the war on Iran.
Who stands to benefit? The richest of the rich.
Who stands to lose? All of us who have to pay higher prices for energy and a new round of sellers' inflation.
The choice is stark. Reform are the party of foreign wars and high bills.
The Greens want de-escalation and energy security through renewables. Solar and wind prices don't fluctuate when rogue US presidents launch illegal bombing campaigns.
Blimey. Sky News reporting YouGov / Sky News / Times voting intention
*Greens leapfrog Labour into second place*
RefUK 23% (-1)
GRN 21% (+4)
LAB 16%(-2)
CON 16%(-2)
LDEM 14%(nc),
Pollster note: This is the highest we've had the Greens, the first time we've had them in second
I have 10kw of solar on my home with a 6kwh battery and it makes it power neutral with the grid, including running an EV, In fact I make more than I use across the year. It also means I don't have to feel guilty about living with home comforts that are powered by clean energy.

"Of those who voted Labour [in 2024], just 37% would vote Labour again".
Read that again to absorb the full, astonishing weight of what it means.
Starmer, Reeves and co have burnt their house down.

Turns out lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services is really popular.
This is just the beginning - people are seeing through the attacks and demanding something better.
And we're making hope normal again - together.

So itβs happened.
The first arrest has now been made since the Public Order Act (2023) was amended to classify animal testing sites as βkey national infrastructure.β
This is Britain in 2026, where you can be arrested and detained simply for peacefully protesting against animal testing.
