Yeah its insane that they were willing to break player expectations like that. unlike mario odyssey where u NEED to get those first moons to progress the game. Really crazy stuff

U can walk past every banana the game presents to you. They never require you to pick up any and progression was never locked behind grabbing one

what do u mean he split the timeline? Ive never heard this before

it also gives more info for the people trying to place this game on the timeline. Its after country 1-3 and before odyssey

Been power-learning Hanafuda the last few hours. I've been jotting down notes of the different hands and memorizing the designs and what goes with what. I really wanna be able to bust this out on a moments notice and teach/play with people. The game is so compact

That's disappointing to hear. I really enjoy DKC Returns and Tropical Freeze😖 sucks that the aging of the gameplay might be the deterring factor of these for me

what would you say is the thing you LIKE about the game? Is it purely the vibes? The music? Or does the gameplay actually become more tolerable as they go on? Cause DKC seemed very cheap in the way that it played. Like it was an arcade game meant to steal my quarters
