Am home from surgery. My tongue is very numb on the left side. But I'm feeling alright otherwise.

It's surgery day.

On the 16th i'm having surgery to remove the titanium plates that have been in my jaw since Sept 2019. i thought they would be in there forever, so i'm super excited and relieved that they can come out.

So much happened this week. My dad was admitted to hospital with pneumonia & is recovering well, I turned 40 & had a great time celebrating it, & I had a consultation about my jaw plates, resulting in a surgery planned to have them removed. All whilst my bf was here to go through it all with me.

Today is my 40th birthday. My wonderful boyfriend got this ring made of both our gemstones. He chose the shape, style, and band, all from memory of what I had described a few years ago.

Yesterday, I was on a high of happy emotions. This morning, I'm trying to push those emotions into positive vibes for my dad, who was just taken to hospital in an ambulance.

One week from today, I'll be 40. Doesn't feel real. Any advice? #birthday #year1986 #gettingolder

Our roof probably won't be fixed until after the new year has begun. A tarp was put on yesterday while I was at work. So it's patched from the inside and outside. Fingers crossed for no extra damage once the rain starts again.

We'll be getting a whirly bird installed on the roof once the hole is repaired.

SES diagnosed the cause as a build-up of air pressure from all the crazy temperature changes we've had over the past couple of weeks. They had been called to multiple homes today for the same issue.

A minor explosion went off in our roof today. We had 2 fire crews, 2 police units, and the SES all come to our rescue. Luckily, and strangely, there was no fire, smoke, or gas detected. But there is a large hole in our roof.

I'm starting to feel festive. My baby tree is up and decorated, and I've found the perfect matching wrapping paper.

Broke a second one yesterday at work, but this one hurt. I think I'll be filling down the rest today.

I'd been getting my nails done since September and today, at work, I broke one 💔 😭 will stay short until my next appointment in 10 days.

I wish my co-workers would take a little more care when packaging up orders. I cut my finger tonight on a staple that was sticking out of a bag instead of being flattened.

Being in love with my best friend truly is the most wonderful thing.

Hormone headache can piss off 😩

My social battery is low. I need sleep.

Another late shift for me today. It better not be a hectic one. Last night was not good. I haven't seen that many daily orders in a while. There were still 200+ at 3:30pm.
