You’re welcome! I’ve been chopping up more plants and I just dug up 3 carrots. One is huge. It’s like a whole meal! The wind is blowing but not too hard. I’m trying to get the gardens ready for winter. Hubby can flip the soil for me. I hope you can get outside too!

The view is from the top of Cerro San Luis mountain looking down on the morning fog that is becoming patchy, so some areas are covered with fog, other areas you can see the city and landscape. The ocean is located in the far distant center (Pismo Beach), as well as from the right (Los Osos/Morro Bay).

We have a sassafras tree next door that’s invasive. I’ve been painting the leaves as soon as I
see them. It’s a focused use of the pesticide that really works well.

I can’t find the account.

You could get brush kill, cut them down and use a chip brush to paint the freshly cut branches. It’s going to get sucked down into the roots and next Spring should be easier to remove.

Eight!!! Yeah they are invasive!! The sorrel will come back. The tiny little roots will regenerate. I’ll dig in the Spring to try and find more. But hopefully it will be a lot less and easier. Are you keeping those burning bushes?

I had pneumonia and she said it was bronchitis. A week later I was back in her office and had a chest xray. But it was well on by then and scared my lower lobes. She almost put me in the hospital. I was so scared. Now any cold turns into pneumonia quickly. 😒
