Feedback and testimonials are starting to roll in on AI Lead Magnets.
This has got to be one of my favorites.
"I finally understood the other side of the equation"
biggest mistake: your lead magnets are comprehensive but overwhelming
instead, focus on instant gratification
deliver value in 5 minutes or less
(it takes less time to build a 5-minute lead magnet and your followers actually get through it. win-win)
sometimes I write my prompts really sloppy on purpose.
here's why:
ChatGPT o1 no longer "o1-preview".
If this is the full strength one, on some evals it performed 3x as well as the preview model.
And people end up sticking around.
(AI Lead Magnets program coming Jan 6 btw)
Your turn:
What's one mini-transformation you can share right now that takes less than 5 minutes to consume and apply?
I promise there's tons of these if you really think about it.
In my AI Lead Magnets system, every piece of content it generates for you uses the 5-Minute Rapid-Results Lead Magnets Formula.
Result?
High opt-in rate for your lead magnets.
High actual engagement with the lead magnet.
The lead magnet proves you're good at what you do (primes people to buy).
Examples:
β’ A 5-minute morning routine for productivity
β’ One email template that boosts response rates
β’ A single breathing exercise for instant calm
The key? Be specific and actionable.
No fluff. Very little theory. 90%+ actionable value.
1. Identify one pain point
2. Provide one actionable solution
3. Make it dead simple to implement
I call these "mini-transformations".
1. Everyone's distracted (no attention span)
2. People are skeptical (no trust)
3. Competition is fierce (no loyalty)
People need to know it's worth their time, or they're gone.
So, how do you do it?
The 5-Minute Value Challenge:
Your content must deliver actionable value to someone in under 5 minutes
(especially for lead magnets)
Here's why:
If now's not a good time to invest in building your list full of people who are primed to buy, that's fine.
When that times comes though, I bet you'll come back to this bookmark.
Follow for more frameworks for growing an AI-powered biz
Btw -- On Monday, I'm releasing a new AI toolkit and course on AI Lead Magnets
+ Unlimited-use, AI-powered conceptors and generators
+ Also generate mini-marketing system for your lead magnet
+ Quick trainings so you know the strategy behind it all
Back to the main point.
THIS is why you simplify. So they can get the 80%.
I can and have talked about these frameworks for hours.
But even if you can only remember What/Why (But Not How), that's huge.
That's enough.
Of course there's more to creating a good lead magnet. But if you can remember this much, you get 80% of the value.
βοΈ Avoid common mis-steps like over-delivering and over-investing
βοΈ Build a memorable brand
βοΈ Create buying intent
β PROOF
Basically, proof you know what you're doing.
Your lead magnet shouldn't just be on a topic that you know about.
It should be related to your offer or service. (And if you're not monetizing yet, use it to try to validate an offer)
β FAST + EASY
Deliver value in 5 minutes or less.
This gives a big hit of dopamine in the form of instant gratification. And they associate those positive feelings with you.
It also allows them to get value bc most people won't finish a 90-minute mini-course
β FORMAT
1) What/Why (But not How)
Tell them what to do and why it works. Then they can go and do it themselves or your paid offer becomes the shortcut to "how"
OR
2) Mini-Transformation
What, why, and how -- but only taking one step forward. Not giving away the whole program.
Rapid-Results Lead Magnets are three things
1) FORMAT
What/Why or Mini-Transformation
2) FAST + EASY
Gives instant gratification
3) PROOF
Proves your offer is valuable without giving too much away
For your content, strip down complex ideas into easy frameworks.
Because your customers are distracted and disinterested.
Example... Rapid-Results Lead Magnets = correct format + fast + proof
(A quick bookmarkable threadπ)
me, trying to be social irl
01.01.2025 19:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0prepping for doors opening (and closing) next week on AI Lead Magnets.
all I can say is thank you @ericasmyname for creating Launch Content Playbook with me
this stuff used to take me hours and hours and hours.
I wrote all these emails today. π
in 2024, I had this on my Lennon Labs landing page.
"Don't risk falling behind"
but AI has raised the stakes
gonna say 2025 is the year of "Don't risk not taking the lead"
once you realize how much AI will do for you
and how it's not even that hard
you just do cool stuff for the thrill and wonderment of it all
email list = future-proofing your business
social media platform are volatile (kind of like the stock market)
impressions can be good one week. bad another. sometimes it's not your fault.
get people on a newsletter/email list and you're in control now
Copywriting formula to promote your lead magnets:
1- Most people want this desired outcome
2-- But make this common mistake or error
3--- I created a vehicle to overcome the mistake
4---- So you can have this desired outcome
5----- Comment "X" and I'll DM
Never fails
the strategy I'm using in my AI Lead Magnets program is all focused on quick wins.
quick wins for you the buyer using the AI tools
quick wins for your lead magnet consumers (5 minutes or less to value)
everybody loves a quick win. instant loyalty builder
just made my own private Dropbox in ~an hour with AI using storage I was already paying for
not even an hour.
mostly I went back to the @lovable_dev AI agent and told it "now take the next most logical step" and then did other stuff while it coded the app for me
too easy
how to research what people will buy:
best way = just take calls with people who might be your customer. talk to them about what they're working on, what they need help with, etc.
no sales pitch. just chat about their challenges.
the info you get is π and worth π°π°π°
so just set-and-forget posting doesn't work great. so don't expect huge results unless you engage
but also, don't spread yourself too thin. best to invest in one platform until you have a strong handle on things imo
