(And when I said maybe two sports, it’s usually either basketball or baseball. Hockey is a distant 4th. In high school, we had 4 dedicated football coaches. All other boys teams were coached by the health teacher. Each girls team had its own dedicated coach who actually knew the sport. Go figure.)

Does that justify the behavior of the hockey team? No, of course not. But you shouldn’t start drawing conclusions about biology because our culture tells men that there’s only one sport here worth pursuing.

So here we are. Football coaches are the highest paid staff in every school BY FAR. Women get broad and deep pipelines in many sports. Men get *one* or maybe two, and every other sport is on its own. No wonder women here medal as much as they do. In this country, men are totally CURSED by football.
