Well, we just added @ResearchGate and validated these functionalities. Turns out that none of them work reliably, unfortunately: Boolean search results do not add up, showing inadequate results, and neither exact searches with "", nor nested searches with () seem to work.

Yet, there are still some caveats to @OpenAlex, particularly for systematic reviewers: it's still missing field codes, backward citations, and our tests show that Boolean searches aren't exact yet. We are excited to see how the system evolves over the next months.

Upon popular request we now support filtering based on database type!
E.g. you can compare all 'journal platforms' operated by publishers and see differences in open access coverage (image). Or you can limit to databases by aggregators (ProQuest, Web of Science, Ebsco, Ovid) etc.

Our tests show @econbiz is very capable in Boolean searching too.
So, economics and business researchers might use EconBiz in their systematic literature reviews or meta-analyses! Queries up to 250 keywords are no problem (however, no abstract searches, unfortunately). (3/3)

Good news for economists and business researchers! We now cover @econbiz (online again after a hack). Among econ-specialized databases, EconBiz's coverage gets only beaten by ABI/Inform, which covers many non-scholarly works, though. (1/3)

π"World Transit Research" likely remained unchanged since 2010, yet its DB grew to 8M records!
Here are some ways to use it: While it can do Boolean, it has issues with wildcards. Upside: gives full access to records (but you need to download them elsewhere). (2/2) @MonashUni
