Lawyers have all kinds of ethical duties including avoiding conflicts of interest. Those had to be implicated in the Paul Weiss/Trump deal — but they for sure are now. Cannot see how this firm moves forward when it’s put up its most fundamental commitment to justice as collateral. What’s left?
