Afghanistan was assaulted on a massive scale and endured 20years of active occupation for hosting entities that attacked the US. It is a little simplistic and blinkered to describe Iran’s neighbours as β€œnot parties to the war”

It’s about the only thing he successfully built/done and yet this is the one that’s disputed?

The CDC recommends fewer vaccines. States are pushing back Eighteen states rejected new federal vaccine recommendations as a lawsuit against Health and Human Services Secretary RFK Jr. moves forward.

Turns the page: β€œWait, do we seriously not believe in ANY vaccines?” san.com/cc/the-cdc-r...

yep - so the hunt begins for the donor with commercial interest in tiny trucks. Lets start with Marc Benioff, Salesforce and shareholder in Telotrucks that just started popping up in my Insta feed

the new social media policy ought to change some minds. Strange pick of charts though, because Canada (flights dropped 70%) and Mexico are more critical and a one year window makes for an odd β€œstory” (forced to guess the 2024 decline was seasonal summer to winter)

Super cool. Enshitification of all the promise of the tech revolution is such a missed opportunity - good data leading to nonsense, flipping the adage β€œbullsh$t in, bullsh$t out” on its head.

I was curious why you didn’t dwell on the impact of paid promotion - a pain at least in my bubble

β€œtesting ceasefire”… what was the result, pass? And in other outlets’ news today, Thai airstrikes on Cambodia β€œthrow ceasefire into question”. I despise the β€œfake media” narrative and it probably led us here, but it seems finally we have lost the press…

the headlines around this deal are bizarre across various outlets … β€œthat Russia β€˜hints’ meets its wishes”….. so cheeky of them to β€˜hint’, perhaps there’s a surprise behind it….

Is it not worth asking how it fits into the muslim aspect of not drinking? As a lapsed catholic, I appreciate there are degrees of devotion but it would be interesting to know … who buys, who makes, why etc

I like it. Deserved it. But even with these big phones it’s impossible to type accurately. Keep doing you. With other options exhausted for a spiralling world, perhaps improved grammar and spelling will save us

It’s not only a question of growth but of returns (among other things like risk etc). Historically, in a level playing field, wind and solar have not offered competitive IRR to other energy investments. That’s no doubt getting better all the time but was the reason a lot of oil majors ditched it
