I simply wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them. Im flagged as a vulnerable person on their systems and that helps newbies understand me.
I always get a little sad and reflective after a wobble. People will say they are just doing their jobs but they don’t have to do half the things they do for me.

The PCs I know have always shown compassion, care and patience. From searching for me when missing, pulling me away from danger, cleaning/dressing my wounds and even taking control when my capacity isn’t there. I laugh that they tell me off, when I think ‘ah shit it’s you’ as they get out the cars.

People give the police a bad rap but I’m super grateful to know my local squadron.
Having a mental health condition that can decline rapidly often means I put myself in dangerous situations.
At times not trusting anyone and been quite fearful means I shut down or lash out when frightened.
