The current ref of my OC Rene. Made back in September of 2024.

I've been wanting to do a proper redesign of Rene for a while. I've tried a few times but never got anywhere with it. I want to keep most of her current traits but make her more visually interesting. I already have some ideas (like giving her shoes) but if anyone sees this, I'm open to suggestions.

I'm not going to let doomerism have a grasp on me. I'm going to keep creating to at least brighten some people's day.

I turned off my filter to look at that post because I was just genuinely curious. I'm positive I have stuff in my likes that's more suggestive than that was. So that guy getting mad about it is even more ridiculous.

It really sucks you need to tell people you can hide nsfw stuff. Especially since the option is easy to find. Like I get annoyed when some people ignore/forget the category thing and post softcore stuff (sometimes it's not even softcore) but I don't whine about it. I just mute them and move on.

I've always liked the look of this style of character so I wanted to make something with a few of the ones I grew to really like over the course of this year. As a bonus, I'll also show off some ideas I had for the main post itself.

Merry Christmas! Managed to get this done while it's still Christmas where I am. I wanted to do a perspective experiment with this one and I think it turned out pretty good. Also the first time in a long time I made a standalone piece on paper.

I don't tend to comment very much but your stuff is always nice to see on my feed I can relate to your struggles when it comes to how I feel about my own stuff. I've been fighting a big slump for what feels like years. But despite how it feels, your updates help me know it's possible to overcome it.

Concept art like this makes me feel a bit better about my own drawing style. This isn't too far off from how I'd do something if I was making something detailed.
