We're happy to announce that @afimaame.bsky.social has been appointed as Africa's Regional Executor!

Congratulations Afi! We're excited for you to lead the African Community of Black Python Devs.

It also creates a pipeline for leadership as the Regional Executors will be able to appoint a team of leaders to assist them as well as serve 1 year terms.

Something important to us from day one was regional representation. This our BPD Council ensured that we heard from community leaders in all that we did.

This takes things a step further by installing leadership at the continental level.

Black Python Devs is Happy to announce a major change in our leadership model with the introduction of regional executors.
