You have risked your life to join the book people at the end of Fahrenheit 451. I am there to greet you, warmly shaking you by the hand. You are free now.

To my shame I don't remember which episode it was, but it seems someone has put a clip of it up on YouTube:

Playing some N64 racers - everything's a blur!
YouTube video by GigerPunk Playing some N64 racers - everything's a blur!

What the hell, I may as well share this one with you this evening. I played a semi-randomly chosen handful of racing games on the N64 earlier this week, mainly because I had no idea what they were like. And now I do, and so can you, if you want.

YouTube video by Forgotten Worlds We Actually have Amstrad GX4000 games in stock!

Don't think I saw the video you mentioned, slating the machine, but I did see this from forgotten worlds yesterday, showing the gx4000 games they currently have in stock. You'd have to be a complete madman to want to collect for it rather than, like you, getting an sd card solution.

I found this piece of coral literally only a stone's throw from there about 35 years ago, so it made me wonder if it was that, though it looks a different type (and my geology teacher at the time said coral wasn't indigenous to that spot so likely washed in from a patch offshore, but a good find)

No idea if this is a fossil or not, but I find it interesting nonetheless. Also a closer look at the swirly patterned one Flo picked up.

The stones I collected. One is smooth on one side, almost like a crab shell but with loads of tiny little holes on the other side, like it could be fossilized coral, or for all I know it could be a lump of some kind of pottery or even something organic. There was a time I would've been able to tell but that was long ago.

I also need to go see my mum to see if I can sort the flat battery on her car, but we'll have to see how things go on that front. Just so bloody frustrating having to constantly ration my energy for so few things.

Drove Flo to work this morning, went to post office & then breakfast, that was me done for the morning, had to rest up. This afternoon have managed to summon enough energy to drive Flo for a appointment but need to sit in the car & recuperate now as still have a counselling session to get to later.

It *may* have come with some extra stuff.
Fwiw, I realized recently it's now been 15 years since I lost my dad. Still think of him every day and wonder what he'd make of stuff all the time but coping with him not being around *does* get easier.
