I've been reading a lot of history and nonfiction lately which has given me a habit of checking the back to see what percentage of the book is bibliography and annotations, because some of them make up like, 25%-30% of the page count

Being an adult for me specifically in the last ten years has involved sharing my birthday with the overwhelming dread and uncertainty of American politics so today has been nice. I'm taking my half-dose of birthday delusion and accepting these little wins as God making it up to me personally.
