Former Orange County advocate Matthew Inman receives maximum sentence for child pornography charges - Watermark Out News Matthew Inman was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison Sept. 17, the statutory maximum for his charges. He was arrested on charges of transportation of child sex abuse material.

Matthew Inman, an official with the Orange County (FL) Democrats and Rainbow Democrats, has been terminated from his position at Visit Orlando. All organizations have condemned this actions.

I must admit, I battled a bit of imposter syndrome before the event. I never anticipated such recognition, but everything I do is driven by my love for our community.

My apologies to Congressman Soto and those who were there, I got a little too passionate in my speech and said a bad word.

My biography will now be included in the Congressional Record. It was a truly humbling experience to stand among several remarkable individuals, all dedicated advocates and heroes in their own right.

Yesterday, surrounded by my family and friends, I had the incredible privilege of being recognized by Congressman Darren Soto and his team in celebration of Pride Month.
