As excited as I was about seeing this latest Andy Weir adaptation #ProjectHailMary, I was curious why Phil Lord and Chris Miller made this one first when they were already attached to Weir's previous book, Artemis.
It's a fun story dealing with gravity, complete with quotes from Weir and others.
Itβs here and itβs spectacular. #ProjectHailMary

It's so great! Welcome aboard!
Not Spencer though.
I have loved the 1986 BMX movie Rad since I first saw it as a kid.
I have so much Rad stuff in my home, you wouldn't believe it.
But I never, ever thought I'd see this. An invite to a RAD PRESS JUNKET?!?!? Just wild.
(Tickets on sale now for the screenings BTW.)
How very un-Tillyverse of you.

The best thing about bad movies is fun movie reviews.
So here's mine for #Scream7. Spoiler-free.
What's the opposite of clickbait?

Did I ask Ryan Gosling about Star Wars: Starfighter?
What do you think?
(Of course, he couldn't say much, and even with a question that tried to be a little broader, didn't say much. But hey! I got to ask him about it.)
That felt like taking a knife in the gut. Terrible. #scream7

If I'm gonna talk to the team behind #ProjectHailMary, you know I'm going to talk to them about that surprise Lego set.
Here's the story of how that happened, from Project Hail Mary (and Lego Movie) directors Phil Lord & Chris Miller themselves (with a Ryan Gosling cameo to boot!)
I have, and it does. Makes lots of concessions for time but also adds small, crucial new bits. A great adaptation.

What's the new movie news? Old news!

BRB working on my "Star Wars Gets Exciting New TV Show" article, but it's about The Mandalorian! It's not a lie. It's just not timely.
#ProjectHailMary is pure joy. Hilarious, heartfelt, hugely moving, wildly exciting and absolutely beautiful. The 160 minutes go by in an instant as Lord and Miller keep Weirβs narrative moving like a rocket ship. Gosling is better than ever and the Rocky effects are mind blowing

24.02.2026 17:51 β π 13 π 5 π¬ 1 π 0A fair point to be sure. There are a lot of very, very dated, cringeworthy things in the film, which many films of the era suffer from.

"Darth Vader was framed."
It's a shirt worn by Simon Helberg in the 2004 Hilary Duff movie, A Cinderella Story, which I saw recently.
What the hell did it mean? Who framed him, exactly? Especially in a pre-Revenge of the Sith world. It made no sense.
So, I investigated.
I had 0 expectations or excitement going into #HoppersΒ , but damned if itβs not a full on, works on every level, top tier Pixar movie.
Of course itβs adorable, funny and emotional. That you expect. What you donβt is it takes chances, gets dark, and creepy too. Itβs truly special
Just put the finishing touches on something that is both some of my finest journalism, but also, without a doubt, the dumbest, most random thing I've ever written.

Being quoted in a movie ad is always cool, but I think it's even cooler to find one of my pieces cited on Wikipedia.
For Scream 4...
I loved Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie even though I knew nothing about it.
