From what I’ve experienced from playtesting Daggerheart I feel it gives them More (rather than fewer) tools in the kit to do improv at the table! Age of Umbra will also be a great gauge for the fandom to see what the limits of the kit look like with other kinds of storytelling vs Menagerie.

On my end (not based on anything I’ve heard at work), I can see the arguments for and against DH being C4. Either way, I like what they do as storytellers first, so the gaming system used feels somewhat secondary to me as long as they still have the tools they need to work at the table!

^ my knee jerk reaction aside, I think Matt’s quote to me was exactly what it meant — it’ll be a big part of what they do, for sure! (And it should be, IMO… given the work that’s gone into it…)

As for what exactly that means we’ll just have to wait for them to announce things!
