My favorite game of 2025 is Expedition 33 since basically everything about it was specifically tailored to me, but I will say I feel like the discourse around this year's Game Awards has been more toxic than usual

There is literally no reason I should be getting more fps in Shadow (2018) at 1440p with ray-tracing on at max settings than in Rise (2015) at 1080p at medium settings, that one still pisses me off

2013 is actually my 2nd favorite in the whole series, I just felt like gameplay-wise the Survivor trilogy didn't build on the foundation in an interesting way; also, as a Radeon user, I did not like how actively hostile Rise is to my RX 6700 XT just because it isn't NVIDIA.

I have no idea how to express this shortly without a full-on trauma dump, but this just feels like a year I survived and I'm glad it's almost over.

Motherfucker, I straight up don't love enough in general and it's something I'm actively trying to correct, so forgive me if I'm trying to hate a bit less.

Literally the only reason I have not played Dispatch is I have a semester to finish and I'm trying to be a good noodle and not put classwork off so I can sink 50 hours per week into the game. My last final is less than a couple weeks away and I'm counting down the days at this point.

I'm trying to start a real mood board to revise a character and I am learning just how easy it is to derail and get distracted, kudos to those who can stay on task with ease omg

I just picked up the Book of Unwritten Tales games and the playable female character goes through a canon pregnancy progression in the second one. Her belly actually gets bigger over the course of the story

At 11 PM back in 2018, I found out my 1 page essay I'd written for the following morning's 8 AM was actually supposed to be 7 pages with 4 additional external citations needed. Still got an A with the all-nighter.
