Brandi Carlisle put on a concert at Allstate Arena last night that was as great as those from back in the day (Springsteen’s Born in the USA; Neil Young w Sonic Youth; Rush w Primus; ZZ Top; INXS; Mellecamp; Dave Matthews).
All that was missing was the stoma and haze from the weed in the stands 😏

Aging into that next phase of life: wheelchair riding because of osteoarthritis flare up (debilitating) at my left knee. Diagnosis is that I don’t have bone-on-bone yet, but it’s coming. Amazed that I could barely walk yesterday morning (no fracture; cortisone shot)
