This game was very well done, had an important message, and is a perfect example of what a small indie developer can do with passion and time. I recommend anyone who likes soulslikes, & especially those who are looking to get into the genre, play this game. It is truly a GREAT game!!
Music - 7.5/10
Each song I heard was fitting and enjoyable! The only problem I had was the lack of variety, as each area only had one song on repeat, and some areas shared music. I just wish there were more songs!
Visuals - 8/10
Unlike most soulslikes, this one was cartoonish and usually brightly colored. I loved this unique take on the genre! The boss designs were fun and scary, and there were a few moments that actually took my breath away.
Combat - 8/10
I am not too familiar with soulslikes, but this one felt pretty good. The upgrade system was unique, but some of it felt flat, while other parts were incredibly useful and well thought out. It was smooth and fun, though, so I can't be too harsh. Bosses were difficult, but rewarding.
Story - 8.5/10
Though it got pretty cheesy at times, the main message was powerful, creative, and important. It's a message about capitalism and the greed that comes with it destroying our planet, and how the anger we feel because of it can be used to fight for good.
