We do not have same-day registration in Texas. So if that guy went online to “register” last night, he would be out of luck.
Texas definitely makes things harder for everyone to vote—no doubt.

Since every district in Texas is algorithmically gerrymandered it would be interesting to learn about how they communicate to individual districts and differences of clarity among them.
