I finished up this little dragon last night. Back to client stuff today.

We’re only nine months in. This chaos is unsustainable. Shit is going to break.

I'm excited to get back to working on the Summoner's Guide to the Necronomicon (Eye of Newt Books). I've had so many life interruptions and conventions this year but it's time to get back on track! Cthulhu Fhtagn! #cthulhu

Im soooo behind on sharing. I painted this guy 5 years ago. Two weeks ago I drove him to Wisconsin to deliver him to his new home. It was bitter sweet but I know he is in good hands and in a wonderful collection. Thanks Kim. Cthulhu is now yours to command.

Back from Dragon Con. That ends a 4 month streak of being away from home for shows or estate stuff most days. So much to do here, but I’m happy to be back with my family and have the time to paint again.

It was so good to see everyone at Dragon Con. I’m already looking forward to next year.

I'm finding some neat books in my Mom's house. This copy of the Two Towers (from the Harrison High School library, last checked out 1970) had a map tucked away in the back. 😀👍

I'm late posting this but Thank You #Origins 2025. It was a great show full of wonderful people, conversations, art and games. Also @cobblehillpuzzles.bsky.social debuted a puzzle of my Critical Critters and I had a great time hanging out with some of their staff and fans.

After 12ish years in our house, we saw our first box turtle. It’s good to know there is turtle business about.

I haven’t posted art in ages. Maggie and I are working through my mom’s estate. I hope to paint again later this summer or fall. Till then. It’s turtle time.
