I’m a lifelong Labour voter and former member. I still hope they can find the right leadership in future. Currently though, hard to see it happening. Never thought I’d see a Labour leader ape the language of Enoch Powell with Starmer’s, “island of strangers” comment

Laura Kuenssberg is a gutter journalist. Bringing on Zak Polanski and telling him Greens not won the byelection due to George Galloway? Pathetic

More honest and human than any other leader. His NATO position was spot on, he didn’t try and lie to make himself sound impressive (I love reality TV) and he repeatedly refused to let the snarling BBC journalist make complicated issues reductive.
Always voted Labour but hard to imagine doing so now

Had lunch with an Iranian client last week and she told me all the people of Iran hate the regime and she liked Trump as she hoped he may finally be the one to free the people. I hope for her sake she’s right

The reds are the strangest team now. Won 5-2 but weirdly soulless sort of performance. I know that sounds spoiled.

Early flight back from Dublin for work and it’s full of reds by the looks of it. Loads of respect for fans who do early morning and huge journeys to see the reds.
Up the Irish Reds!

The problem is those votes have gone to an even more right wing party so it tempers the joy somewhat

I quit when Milliband decided to appear gurning on the front of the S*n newspaper to try and help them sell copies of their shameful rag.

He’s politically dead and deserves to be so

Starmer is the lamest of lame ducks (Badenoch too). He’ll stay until May then when that’s a massacre he’ll go.
Choosing, deliberately, to alienate his base (“if you don’t like it, leave”) was quite the choice. Choosing to block maybe the only guy who could have won; self-interested madness.

Fuck the monarchy. Paedo protecting, victim paying off, unelected, money stealing, hypocritical faux green, carbon guzzling, inbred, nazi supporting benefit cheats.

That’s scene where the son is with his love interest, then a frame later is with his mum blew my mind. I realise editing movies must be loads harder than we think but that seemed such a basic error for what I assume is one of the highest budget movies ever made

Late to this but saw Avatar 3 and it’s a weird remake of Avatar 2 with slightly less terrible dialogue but much worse editing. Really weird

Be fair Gakpo has been top class against Brighton tonight. His best game in over a year. I still wouldn’t go into next season with him as first choice left attacker but at least he’s reminded us he’s a footballer

Been highly critical of Ibou but he finally looks back to his best. Hope he stays.
Him - Virj - Leoni - Jacquet and Gomez next season then Virj replacement the year after

To be clear I like Gakpo as a 5th choice attacker but pretty clear from this season he can’t be a starter and £250k a week for a sub isn’t smart. My guess is they sell him in summer

I’d love to see some stats on the amount of times his one trick results in anything positive for us. My guess is it’ll be a v small percentage

I think you want Isak and Ekitike competing for the 9, maybe play occasional matches together and you have a proper left winger / left attacker and a proper Mo replacement and suddenly it’ll all look brighter. Though I think there are also midfield issues. How long do we live with awol Mac?

Which has clearly unbalanced the team. I’m certain rebalancing this will be a top priority in summer. Has to be.
