They all believe repetitive individual work is crucial to players improving, just as they have embraced the work of the performance and data teams.
Woodgate & Evans have been working closely with the defenders on everything from body positioning to clearing headers.

It could not be more different under Carrick and a backroom staff who have wasted no time winning over the players and been instrumental to the turnaround.

Under Amorim, days were often drawn out, with long, passive gym sessions, breaks for treatment, then lengthy daily team meetings before training, often not finishing until 2pm or 3pm.
There was no individual work under Amorim. Everything was done en masse with the group.
🚨 NEW: Training days are more compacted than under Amorim. Players bounce from treatment into team meetings (less frequent, usually no more than 15 minutes), then to the gym and straight out for training. Mandatory work can wrap up by 12.30pm.

🚨🚨🎙️| Oliver Glasner on Manchester United:
"They have a great spirit right now, as I mentioned. For me, it was really impressive seeing Matheus Cunha celebrating winning a duel in their own box [vs Everton], because I think this is what Michael Carrick brought into his team."
🗣️ Carrick on Sesko’s goal: “I have to say it’s kind of picture perfect in terms of the clearance from Harry, the layoff for Ben, the pass from Luke to then Cunha – what a pass – and Mbeumo’s composure."
“Ben hitting TOP gear and finishing it off, everything comes together so perfectly." #mufc
Sessions are shorter and sharper, seldom running beyond an hour or 75 minutes. Regular observers of training say they have been “blown away” by the intensity, level and quality on show. [@TelegraphDucker]

And then I see Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo, very, very young players with huge talent.
The most important thing is that they have a clear structure in the way they play."
🚨🗣️ Oliver Glasner on Man United:
"It's a very good team, well-balanced and very experienced. When I see Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, players who are really very, very experienced in the Premier League.

That’s why United were interested in me because they knew how it was going to be. Fitness-wise is one thing, but also in training, just visualising the things and all those bodies next to you trying to navigate.
