My password works, and I'm logged into battle net. It's running the WoW install. Not sure if my characters are still going to be there or not, I haven't played since shortly after you quit playing which was well before the pandemic.

Well, the Philly auto show was a bust (for me). Might have to start looking at used stock. Though it seems knobs, buttons, and dials are making a little bit of a come back, so maybe by the time I'm ready to buy there will be something.

I'm mostly annoyed that I have a few series that are ongoing and will now have books that are different sizes in those series. mass market was my preferred format. We'll see if it bothers me enough to repurchase them in trade when that starts happening. (Probably, yes)

For me, it was hockey (almost the only sport I watch) and a good story where I felt scene. A few of my husband's friends were asking the same questions quietly among themselves, so I'll have to relay that to them.

And to be clear, there is much more story than sex, but so was Brokeback Mountain and there was no end of whining over that. That's is what's making me curious about the interest in Heated Rivalry.

I curious what straight men find enjoyable about it. Is is the sports? Just a good story? Something else? I'm not complaining, but it feels weird given the number of (tastefully done) sex scenes. Whatever the reason, I'll take it as a win.

I don't watch a lot of TV. And I almost never watch dramas, especially romance dramas. But I stumbled on a news article about Heated Rivalry, a story about two gay hockey players, and it said that straight people were giving it high marks. So I watched it, and now I'm hoping/waiting for season 2.

Every generation has problems and coping mechanisms that other generations will not understand. Some are worth sharing in the correct light, others are not in any light. It's generally best to relate things as generically as possible when these ideas/feelings conveying things forward. 3/

I've also found that my younger coworkers grew sick of hearing it a long time ago - particularly the ones that are within 10-15 years of me. I've stopped, or at least try to stop myself, from making the "back in my day" and "my generation" comments. 2/

A friend is off on a Gen X rant (again). I don't know that I ever strongly identified as Gen X (though I am), and I have found over the years that stereotypes, applied too broadly, are often inaccurate. My experiences were certainly similar in some ways, but also wildly different in other ways. 1/

To clarify, there is a period between Jan 21 and Feb 20 (inclusive) for the Chinese zodiac signs where i could be one of two signs depending on when the new year starts. There might be a calculation to resolve that, but at the time I could not find one.
