Third-and-12. Scratch that. Third-and-17. That is back-to-back false starts on #Mizzou. Cooks finds Burden on a short pass and Burden tries his best to make something happen, but South Carolina swallowed it up. The Tigers punt and it's not a good one.

Fourth-and-2 coming up. Rocket Sanders tries to bounce it outside but is met by Joseph Charleston before the sticks. Turnover on downs for South Carolina. #Mizzou takes over at its own 18-yard line.

Sellers escapes the pocket and runs for five yards. Looks like South Carolina's offense is staying out for this fourth-and-2. Gamecocks take a timeout before the play.

That's the end of the first quarter. South Carolina leads #Mizzou 7-6 and is facing a third-and-7 when action resumes.

Third-and-6. Cook looks deep down the left sideline for Theo Wease but coverage by Judge Collier is excellent and the pass falls incomplete. Blake Craig hits his second field goal of the game, this time from 37 yards out.

That was not a good drive for the #Mizzou defense. Had a chance to get off the field on third-and-10 but give up a 14-yard reception. Two plays later LaNoris Sellers finds a WIDE open Nyck Harbor for a 26-yard touchdown.

Third-and-7. Cook throws a little low to Wease Jr. and it's incomplete. Blake Craig knocks in a field goal from 38 yards out to take an early lead.

Good start for the #Mizzou offense. Brady Cook looks pretty good early on. He just connected with Theo Wease across the middle for a gain of 23 yards.
