Why is it that we say, "Can't imagine it" ('unimagineable') or, "Wouldn't think of it" ('unthinkable') but even though we say, "Wouldn't dream of it" we don't say 'undreamable'?

Cancelling plans to reduce sensory, social, emotional, and cognitive input is essential for neurodivergent people to regulate 🫶

Every time I need to cancel plans due to Autistic overwhelm, I think about the psychologist who, committed to the BPD framework, insisted that I experienced myself as unpredictable and unstable and could not maintain routine or relationships due to PD.
