Being a Toddler mom means watching Encanto way too many times and seeing symbolism in every single detail. My theories change every time I watch it (although I’m sure Mirabel is the future matriarch of the Familia Madrigal)

We really need a Monsters Inc sequel where Sully goes to therapy and deals with the consequences of terrorizing children for years for a living…

The busy season in live entertainment looks VERY different from the busy season in accounting…it’s a lot less “patron passed out on the toilet during intermission” and a lot more “who’s going to grab that phone call” 🧮

I don’t even sing that much anymore, but whenever I lose my voice while sick there’s a constant refrain of “dontpanicdontpanicdontpanic” in my head 😰

The only two classes I needed to finish up my class work for the CPA exam also fall during tax season, so it’s fine. I’m doing great and have a really healthy work-life balance. No really, I’m good. Promise. (Maybe if I keep saying this, it will become true).

I heard somewhere that for every credit of courses, one should dedicate that many hours each week to homework for the class. So yeah, 8 hours seems to be right for the two classes I’m in 🫠

Daycare drop off is so much harder than pick up 😭
