which i think says a lot about the community here and how we are able to buoy each other through tough times. because that’s what neighbors do.

there is so much resolve and strength in our people here in minnesota, but i will say—for myself—that yesterday was a weary one. it was the first time in the last year of this administration that I have felt like maybe there isn’t hope for overcoming all this.

this post is maybe coming a bit late (which—what a fucked thing to say, just as a concept) but yesterday was so fraught with action and emotion that there was no way i was keeping up with social media. so here’s all the thoughts I had posted over on insta that i’m still feeling a mixture of today.

From the New York Times: Representative James Comer, Republican of Kentucky and the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said on Fox News that President Trump should consider removing ICE agents from Minneapolis and sending them to another state. If "there's a chance of losing more innocent lives or whatever," Comer said, "then maybe go to another city and let the people of Minneapolis decide: Do we want to continue to have all of these illegals?"
